Yellow Door Kids Therapy Hub is an friendly organisation that provides compassionate, inclusive, and accessible services for children and families.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We offer allied health services including Music Therapy, Play Therapy, and Music and Speech Social Skills Groups. Our small, committed team of therapists work with children of all needs, helping them connect and reach their full potential. Our team connects with your team so that your child's needs can be addressed cohesively and collaboratively.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Our door is open for children of all developmental abilities, from the ages of 2 through to 12 and their families.

We provide services and support for children experiencing many different challenges such as ASD, Fragile X, Rett Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Anxiety, ADHD, Prematurity, and Developmental Delay.

Our team have over 60 years of shared experience in the fields of Music Therapy, Speech Pathology and Play Therapy. We are comitted to providing  a strengths based program,within a family centred framework, working with your child's strengths and interests to enhance well being and development.

Following our conversation, we will arrange for a consultation in the clinic with one of our therapists. The initial session focuses on understanding your child's current developmental level, strengths and challenges.

funding

Our therapy services are currently funded through FAHCSIA or through the NDIS or through private payment at our centre.

At Yellow Door, we focus on learning through gentle empathic connection. We understand that it takes courage to learn a new way of communicating, and whilst our therapy is based on evidence-based practice and the latest research, we understand that real change occurs in trusted relationships.  As such, our process is gentle and supportive.
